Our oldest academy group trains like a team: sharper technique, fitness work and the tactical habits players need as the game gets bigger.
- Ages
- 11–12 years
- Match format
- Team training and small-sided games
What this group works on
- Team shape and tactical understanding
- Speed, strength and conditioning
- Specialist goalkeeper training
Sessions are built around game situations: attacking and defending as a unit, switching play and making the right decision under pressure.
You will see pressing drills and small-sided games played at a high tempo, alongside fitness work. Goalkeepers get their own coaching on handling, positioning and distribution.
Players who want more can book one-to-one sessions with a coach to work on a specific part of their game.
